戴志远:那是除锈药水吧?

 

李恒熙:低音缠弦积攒灰尘,使弦振动不充分,音质难听。先前我用的是清洗眼镜用的超声波振动清洗仪,效果太一般了。看了这个视频,感觉像是氨水还是双氧水?

 

郭晓峰:不是氨水也不是双氧水。因为要考虑后面的因素,这个洗干净,后面绝对还有一个东西,不然弦全会变木音的。@李恒熙

 

李恒熙:那就是除锈水。我感觉像是强碱或强酸类的。

According to the Parsons Ammonia MSDS theirs' is a 3% solution.  You need to dilute your product quite a bit.  A weaker solution, replaced over and over, until it stops turning blue, will do a better job without over etching the copper windings.  Ammonia is pretty agressive with brass and copper.  I left some hinges in the stuff over night, but one stuck out a bit.  There was a visible "shoreline" where the ammonia had etched away the surface.  Thank heaven that they were just top hinges for an upright, and no one would ever see them, but I saw what happened.  Mild is what works, and agitation; making suds also seems to improve results.  The cleaning ammonia also has a bit of soap in it, which I thinks helps a lot in getting the gunk out from inside the coils; the real reason that the strings sound better.

黄新炎:视频中使用的是氨水除锈。另一种更加安全的方法就是用EDTA二钠在PH=9的条件下进行络合。EDTA是一种最广泛的金属阳离子络合剂,它和铜绿的反应速度不如氨水那么快,但它的络合反应更加稳定安全。方法是配制10%浓度的EDTA二钠溶液,用氢氧化钠溶液滴入EDTA溶液中,用PH试纸观察溶液PH值为8-9的时候,这个络合反应就可比较理想的速率进行。这个化学除锈的方法对付低音弦锈蚀有很好的作用。我以前用过,效果很好。但是除锈结束以后一定要对低音弦彻底清洗干净烘干才可以往琴上面装,否则很快就会有产生新的锈蚀现象,严重的话就是“木音”出现。视频中用氨水反应速度比较快,要注意不可时间太长。
